UK: Giant puppets roam the streets of Liverpool - picture gallery
Over the next three days, French street theatre company Royal De Luxe will be performing Sea Odyssey, with two giants coming to life and telling a story inspired by The Titanic. The two puppets, a man and his niece, will roam through the city’s streets looking for each other during the three-day production (via guardian.co.uk)

Drawing upon a trip to Guadalajara, Mexico last November, the new performance featured three creations: well-known marionette La Petite Géante was joined by new creation El Xolo, a hairless dog inspired by an Aztec god who accompanied the dead on their journey to the afterlife. El Campesino, a Mexican peasant, also made his first appearance. For three days, the giants walked through the centre of the city and drew of crowd of 600,000 spectators.
